Easter Egg Math

April 1, 2022

The two-piece plastic eggs you see popping up at stores before Easter are a great way to teach your toddler about math. All you need is five plastic eggs and a permanent marker. Separate the eggs, and write the numbers 1-5 on five egg halves.

On each of the other halves, use your marker to make big dots ( one dot, two dots, etc.). Help your child match the number with the number of dots. β€œCan you find the egg piece that has three dots?” Thanks, Lakeshore Learning, for this fun Easter math activity.
